In honor of the latest Rebel Wilson comedy I am pulling this week's quote from "How to Be Single". It's a hilarious and fun movie about dealing with singlehood, whether you're chronically single, newly single, hopelessly looking for your future husband or single past your prime. The movie takes the audience on quite the ride with their characters as they deal with being single in New York City. My quote of the week and hopefully a V-Day pick-me-up for you singles out there:
"The thing about being single is, you should cherish it."

Alice is our main heroine and throughout the movie she really learns the value of being alone. She's finally realizing that being single, even though it may seem sad or upsetting, it is probably one of the most important things you can do in your life. You don't need to always be single, but she realizes that spending a chunk of time single is the best way to find yourself. Yesterday was my first single Valentine's since I started dating back in Junior High. Makes me sound a bit pathetic, but it's true. I was terrified it would be this horrible day and I would be battling tears through it. Actually though, it was great! I did things on my time, I made it to the gym, and I got to see this great comedy.
Sometimes it's difficult and sad to be single, but I am learning way more about myself than I ever did before and I am excited for this time in my life!! I hope you other singles can feel the same!
