In honor of Valentine's Day I have decided to create a quick guide of some of my favorite Romance films:

When Harry Met Sally (Reiner, 1989)

A fun filled romance about two people who become friends over the years of bumping into each other around NYC. Eventually they succumb to the inevitable and end up maybe falling in love.

Love Actually (Curtis, 2003)

Follows the lives of different couples in London, proving that not only is love confusing and always a surprise, but it is in fact "all around".

It Happened One Night (Capra, 1934)

A spoiled hieress comes across a story-less writer when she is running away from her family and in need of some help.

Pride & Prejudice (Wright, 2005)

Based on the Jane Austen novel, Elizabeth Bennett and Mr. Darcy find themselves falling in love with the pressing issue being, she is below his class level.

The Longest Ride (Tillman, 2015)

The lives of a young couple conflicted over their lives dreams intertwine with a much older man, as he reflects back on his time with the love of his life.

10 Things I Hate About You (Junger, 1999)

In an effort to get her younger sister to be allowed out on a date, Patrick Verona is paid to take Kat Stratford out, only he never anticipated he'd fall in love with her.

The Holiday (Meyers, 2006)

After they both are left heartbroken, Amanda and Iris decide to switch houses for the holidays after finding each other on a vacation rentals site. They are both assured that they will find no decent men where they are headed, only to find true love.
