HAPPY #backtothefutureday

We've finally made it! Remember all those fake posts about having made it to the day Marty McFly travels to in Back to the Future? Well today is the ACTUAL day!! Believe it or not some of their predictions were very correct. The most noteable incorrect prediction, however, the style! But then again, that is probably the most difficult thing to predict. We have some idea of where technology is going and what to expect, but style can totally take a left turn if the right socialite decides to make it so!

Furthermore, in honor of #backtothefutureday I have decided to make a list of their predictions and the outcomes.

HOVERBOARDS: So we do have them, just not everyone has them, like the movie predicted. The movie thought they would be synonomous with skateboards and well, they're just not. Something that is closer are those Segway technology boards, you've all seen them!

3D MOVIES: Have been around since I was in Kindergarten, so well done Back to the Future!

FOOD HYDRATOR: Does exist, but not in the way they thought it would. I wish we could just put mini food in some machine and end up with a giant pizza! Think about how much easier grocery shopping would be!!

SELF TYING SHOES: May be in our near future, but they do not exist yet.

VIDEO CHAT: Totally exists and in a much better way, we can now do it on our little hand held phones!!
