What Happened This Week on SCANDAL

I feel like I should really apologize in advanced for the to-come obsessive posts about "Scandal". In my defense, it's a great show and I really do not think anyone will be complaining that much. With that said also beware, there will be SPOILERS here. Sorry, not sorry. You've had 12 hours to watch the new episode and if you haven't, go watch it now then come back and read this.

The last couple of weeks have left me seriously worried that the hit television show is coming to an end, because the biggest scandal of the entire show has come out! Now the entire world knows Olivia Pope has been having an affair with the President. This could mean impeachment for the President if he does not meet the demands of certain congressmen. Now I hate to say it, but without Fitz in office, we lose a lot of what makes the show so deliciously scandalous. I started to get disheartened by the fact that now our biggest secret is out and was terribly worried that the show wouldn't really have anywhere to go from here.

However, last night's episode of "Scandal" proved that the writers and producers still have a few tricks up their sleeves. Not much gets my heart pumping when I watch television or movies, SO when a show literally has me standing in front of the television, YES I SAID STANDING! Well then you know something insane has just happened. I can think of maybe a couple other times when I've been watching television and actually stood up with excitement, disappointment or anxiety. This episode had me on the edge of my seat until the last 5 minutes when I proceeded to stand up and start pacing as I vehmently watched the screen. What was so big that I just couldn't take it anymore? President Fitzgerald Grant disobeyed Olivia's wish to have the media berate her and instead he turned to none other than former OPA gladiator, Abby. So as Olivia is watching the news cover her story, they break to cover the President taking an unplanned trip in the Presidential limo to HER HOUSE! And he didn't come to end things or ask for her advice on the impending impeachment process, nope, he is taking her on their first public date! WHAT?!

You've done it again "Scandal", and thank you!
